The final collection of Acts of the Washington Administration and also containing the earliest treaties of the Adams administration (with the Creek Indians including some three pages of names of the signatory tribe chieftains; Spain, numerous Indian tribes including the Delawares, Chipewas, Ottowas, Miamis and others; treaty of Commerce and Navigation with the King of England with John Jay and Jefferson as Signatories; Algiers.) The Acts include admission of Tennessee to the union, expansion of the Navy by three frigates, building of a light house on Cape Cod, impressment of American seamen, etc. Front board detached and general wear about all edges and with peeling to the leather on the spine. Previous owners signature appears on the front pastedown (with the date of 1841) where there is a partly obscured bookplate; the same signature appears on the front cover.
